Boojum Posted May 25, 2004 Posted May 25, 2004 I'm wondering who's in charge of this part of the forums. It used to be Scott, then it was Mitch. Now it's ... well, that's the problem. After doing a lot of hard work on the new version of my site, I finally uploaded it, with a link to TotalChoice not only on the home page, but on all 44 pages of the site. And I thought, "Finally, I can join the TCH Family!" Now here I am. My site still links 44 times to TCH, and the Family? Apparently dysfunctional. I'm not trying to be unduly demanding, but my site could certainly benefit from the Family's inbound link. This does not seem to me to be unreasonable; it's a simple matter of reciprocity. So, who's in charge? And if no one is, could that please be remedied soon? Quote
TCH-Dick Posted May 25, 2004 Posted May 25, 2004 Your right, currently there is noone taking care of adding links to the family members pages. Once we have someone it will get taken care of. Quote

This does not seem to me to be unreasonable; it's a simple matter of reciprocity. Don't take this out of context, trying to put this in perspective. I see your sig has a link to your site in it. When this thread gets indexed there will be a link to your site from it . Each post you have made (277 of them) has a link to your site from TCH, lets not forget about that. Your request is not unreasonable, though the tone could use a bit of padding, but there are many more things going on behind the scene that are preventing us from getting to this area in fast fashion. It will be gotten to, have patience, it has only been a month since the last update to this area and that is far from abandoned. Quote
annie Posted May 25, 2004 Posted May 25, 2004 For those who'd like to be indexed by Google. Although they'll follow links under images, Google has a thing about keywords. So if you want to have your site indexed well in Google, you should make a sig with your link under your targeted keywords. Just a little pointer... An image will not help you with keywords, though, which is why you should use a sig file if that's important to you. Quote
