webgyrl
Hey gang... Won't get into detalis, but I am trying to find out what location a harasser to my site is coming from, but can't seem to find out using ARIN. I plugged in the IP that I got from a nasty message on my MB, but it came up with this: No match found for xxx xxx xxx xxx. # ARIN WHOIS database, last updated 2004-05-17 19:15 # Enter ? for additional hints on searching ARIN's WHOIS database. Is there a better way to look up an IP or is this person using some kind of anonymizer? Thanks, Nat
TCH-Rick
My first stop in looking up IP/Domain information is www.dnsstuff.com. There are lots of options that could help.
Alan
http://www.google.com Search for NeoTrace Pro. Or Send me a message to (tinywizdas) on yahoo, or (zcr_tinywizard@hotmail.com) for msn. And u can give me the IP and I will trace it, and send u the results. -Alan
Alan
> There is my IP Address which I traced. > No need to worry about it being posted lol, It changes everytime I reconnect. And I really do not care if anyone tries to hack me lol. > This is using NeoTrace Pro, which I find to be very usefull, if you have the PRO version, which costs like $25.00 you can trace an Ip Address/Email Address/Domain Name. And it gives u the ping/and a map of the exact area the trace is. So when I trace my IP, a icon pops up on the city of foxworth in the state of Mississippi. Very simple to use, and very useful if you have alot of attacks. You also get 3 modes of info, which can be logged. **************************************** \\ TimeStamped: 9:05 PM CsT - On May 18, 2004 |NeoTrace Pro: Active| 68.156.19.34 IP Address........................... : 68.156.19.34 Subnet Mask........................ : 255.255.255.255 - Street: 962 New Hope Chruch Road City: Foxworth State: Mississippi Zip: 39483 - Area Code: 601 Phone #: ERASED - Contact: Alan Email: alan@zzip.cc Phone: 601-736-6423 Mail: P.O. ThumpAZ
I don't know what I was doing, but it sure wasn't reading. I was sitting here tracing your IP address, and it kept coming back to Zzip ISP, a reseller for Bellsouth. And I was thinking, these guys are using the same ISP... must be close to one another. Man, it has been a long day. I, too, have Neotrace Pro, and love it. It tells me what area someone is in, so when I go after something, I know where to look for proxies. whoahorse
Thanks,Nat I have some comments for you but I don't want to go off topic so I will post them in the reseller forum ok? Check there K? Weezy
webgyrl
Thanks everyone. Time for me to get Neotrace I think. Seems like anytime I release a new single or album this same person pops up, if it is who I think it is. Just disgusting really. Anyway... hope I don't have to go thru this stalking thing again... been there done that, it SUCKS! Weezy- I can't get into the protected reseller forum as I am not a reseller. You can PM me tho if that is easier. Thanks again everyone. Nat
Alan
Yes, zZip is a reseller of bellsouth/CBLink And now another company is taking them over. I am only 16, and he owns the ONLY local ISP. Until I get my Digital Broadband which has been put on hold, incase I do get accepted to a nice college, I will more than likely not be able to get a student loan because I will not be 18 when I start my college. For EMT-B classes it is a $650 Charge, And you still have to take the EMT-P/EMT-D classes, but the EMT-Driver classes I cannot take till I turn 18, insurance wont cover me driving an ambulance lol, but they will cover me in a car(Which in my car I do not have someone depending on my driving outcome to be able to live) And hehe, I cannot sign a contract. Which is fairly stupid, a teen should be allowed to have a contract enforced on them, we are basicly grown lol. If they will let us take a seat behind the wheel of a car and go down the highway, then there is not very much that they should 'Not be able to trust' about us lol. Afterall that is one of the points to " Kids are immature " Rofl -Alan

webgyrl
Just downloaded the free version NeoTrace. It's saying that it can't connect to the server to get maps. Is anyone else having this problem? Thanks for the help yesterday, someone looked up the IP for me and I got the info. Nat

TCH-Don
For me the neo trace after I hit cancel to register, take a while before it launches. But it is a nice program. Another cute one is Geobytes IP Address Locator Tool http://www.geobytes.com/IpLocator.htm
