mbakshi
A friend of mine just informed me that he was unable to send me email (at my TCH-hosted URL, TechAutos.com) - he forwarded me the error email he got back: > -----Original Message-----> From: Mail Delivery System [mailto:Mailer-Daemon@otho.dnsback.com]> Sent: Sunday, May 16, 2004 7:06 PM > To: name@site.ext > Subject: Warning: message 1BP34J-0000os-NI delayed 24 hours > > This message was created automatically by mail delivery software. > A message that you sent has not yet been delivered to one or more of its > recipients after more than 24 hours on the queue on otho.dnsback.com. > > The message identifier is: 1BP34J-0000os-NI > The subject of the message is: ebay > The date of the message is: Sat, 15 May 2004 13:35:37 -0400 > > The address to which the message has not yet been delivered is: > > name@site.ext > Delay reason: SMTP error from remote mailer after RCPT > TO:<name@site.ext>: > host site.ext [207.44.240.63]: 451 Temporary local problem - > please try later > > No action is required on your part. Delivery attempts will continue for > some time, and this warning may be repeated at intervals if the message > remains undelivered. Eventually the mail delivery software will give up, > and when that happens, the message will be returned to you. It appears to be server-related issue - it doesn't seem to be something at his end because it says "SMTP error from remote mailer." I don't know if this was something at TCH or at some server in the middle though... Thanks, ABakshi Edited June 5, 2004 by TCH-Don

jcc3
I am having the same sort of problem. Email to my main account box does not get delivered from external domains. I wonder how many others are not getting email but are unaware of it. I have submitted a ticket and support has been looking at this for days with no success. Here is a bounced message fragment: > A message (from <...@comcast.net>) was received at > 21 May 2004 12:54:41 +0000. > > The following addresses had delivery problems: > ><...@...> >Permanent Failure: 550- > The_recipient_cannot_be_verified.__Please_all_recipients_of_this_message > Delivery last attempted at Fri, 21 May 2004 12:54:44 -0000
