  6. People were in their pews talking at church. Suddenly, Satan appeared at the front of the church. Everyone started screaming and running for the front entrance, trampling each other in a frantic effort to get away from evil incarnate. Soon everyone had exited the church except for one elderly gentleman who sat calmly in his pew without moving, seeming oblivious to the fact that God's ultimate enemy was in his presence. So Satan walked up to the old man and said, "Don't you know who I am?" The man replied, "Yep, sure do." "Aren't you afraid of me?" Satan asked. "Nope, sure ain't." said the man. "Don't you realize I can kill you with a word?" asked Satan. "Don't doubt it for a minute," returned the old man, in an even tone. Did you know that I could cause you profound horrifying, AGONY for all eternity?" persisted Satan. "Yep," was the calm reply. "And you're still not afraid?" asked Satan. "Nope," said the old man. More than a little perturbed, Satan asked, "Well, why aren't you afraid of me?" The man calmly replied, "Been married to your sister for 48 years."

  9. I dont know if all "tech" type people are the same, but if they are I bet between all of us we could build a frankenstien of a computer out of parts just laying around. I have 6 cases in my closet and a HUGE box of random parts under my bed, everything from ISA modems to duron motherboards....whats in your PC parts stash??
  10. I take it you have had bad exp, with tiger direct?
  11. I havent set up coppermine, but in the config for database name and username did you use cpanelname_databasename for the database name and cpanelname_username for the username, and did you assign a user to the database in cpanel? Those are the most common reasons it wont connect to a database, I worked on mine for 2 hours before i figured it out
  12. So the code that it says to copy and paste to the aliases file is not needed since total choice uses exim? just wanna make sure I understand that correctly in case it comes up in the future.
  13. /hugs his AMD Thumbs Up /glares at the Intel that died yesterday Mad!!! all excellent choices, I would have suggested a better vid card also, but since you are in fact a robot I'm not going to make that suggestion newegg does have some good prices, tiger direct is good also. plus tigerdirect has an affiliate prog..so if you ever in the market for new hardware go to my site and follow the link so i'll get a comission Seriously i love AMD, I am trying to like Intel but the system I have had less than a week died yesterday, actually not the entire system, just a dead mobo....now i have to wait god knows how long for an RMA.
  14. cool, glad it worked out for ya Just checked out your forums, I love the look!
  15. first thing i would do is create that folder, and see if that fixes the errors. What type of forum are you running?
  16. do you have an htmlavatars folder?
  17. not sure how you'd go about it without having to keep track of how much data your putting on a CD, but one thing I would suggest is using winzip or something to zip them up into a smaller package, then you can fit more files onto a cd.
  18. you can try oscommerce, but it looks a lot like the one you have tried, if you ask nicely you might could get them to out it on your server and it would be an auto install in the cgi scripts. I can re install it real quick on mine if you wanna see what it looks like.
  19. Well i decided to put the time that i am unemploy...err...I mean "between jobs" to good use and try and learn some stuff. I have been trying all day to install and run MySQL on a PC that i have set up here at home as a server. Everything is installed and it all loks good, but when i try and start the SQL server I get a lot of errors. >InnoDB: See http://www.innodb.com/ibman.html for installation help. InnoDB: Error number 32 means 'Broken pipe'. InnoDB: See also section 13.2 at http://www.innodb.com/ibman.html InnoDB: about operating system error numbers. InnoDB: File name .\ibdata1 InnoDB: File operation call: 'open'. InnoDB: Cannot continue operation. Been looking on the innodb site for the cause but no luck so far, anyone have any experience with SQL that might know the cause?

Updated List test x-trememodz.com I made a mailing list previous to the cpanel upgrade just messing around and didnt get a message like that, could that have anything to do with the errors ppl are having now?
  21. oh yeah support, that could be a good thing to
  22. I just installed Abyss and PHP also, took less than 5 minutes and works perfectly! Thanks for the link!
  23. I think the difference in paying for linux and downloading it is, if you pay for it you get the books and manuals and such, you can buy mandrake or red hat at wal mart here in town for $25 and the only difference is it comes with manuals.
  24. another thing to check while you are there, is scroll down to the very bottom of the page in your mainfile.php, make sure there are no spaces before or after the ?> This has nothng to do with the error you are getting, but it's pretty common and can cause other errors.
  25. total choice recently upgraded to Cpanel version 7.2.1
