We have finished with backup syncing earlier than as we expected and so have gone ahead and kicked off the account restore. Again, this will not any way affect the services on the current server until finally the restore is over and we synchronize the dns. Updates to follow.

Just thought I will paste here with the update from the dc.

Server was stuck at POST waiting for keyboard interaction to move on. After that, it was just really slow to boot up.

The server is back up and responding to services as intended. Please raise a ticket if you still experience any issues.

The server didn't come back up afer a reboot following the kernel upgrade. We have contacted the dc regarding this. Updates to follow.

If your account was on server24 you will now want to subscribe to the Riker server forum to be kept notified of any issues with your server.

Migration is complete!
We did some random checks and confirmed that sites are now resolving to the new server. If you are using external nameservers, please make changes to point your site to the new ip. If you have dedicated ip per package and if the site is not working, please open a ticket instead.
New hostname: riker.tchmachines.com

Account restore is over. We are currently syncing mails and databases. Once this is over all standard ports on the old server will be closed down and dns will be synchronized. Your sites will be temporarily unavailable at this point.

Backup has been taken freshly and copied over again. I have kicked off the account restore now. Please note that this will not affect any services on the current server until the restore is over and we switch the dns. It is currently at 1%. Keep refreshing this page for updates.
