The reseller accounts allow you to make multiple accounts like you already have. So the transition will be pretty painless. Hi, I wouldn't use the word "meaningless" ... It is like being part of a hosting-company version of the "Better Business Bureau". It allows you to compare us against other companies in a way that would not be otherwise possible. If your issue is with the graphic alone, anyone can place a graphic on thier website, including those from Microsoft and other companies. It is still up to the consumer to be aware if there is any true meaning to having that graphic there. Do your homework on all companies to be sure this is true. It is abusive for the rest of the accounts to use other forms of streaming on our virtual accounts To protect them, if we see that you are streaming music, we will suspend your account. We do offer dedicated servers that are better equiped for this purpose. Sorry if I'm the first to break the news to you. But thank you for your understanding.

The new Starter account will not be connected to your reseller account in any way. So yes, you can purchase a seperate Starter account if you wish.

Hi Kevin, You can access webmail this way: www.your-tch-domain-name.com/webmail/ Your ID will be your complete e-mail address (i.e. you@your-tch-domain-name.com) and your password will be what you specified. This will get you in pretty quickly. See if you can get this far, and then you can always move on from there. Welcome to our family Kevin!

Hey Buddy, I have a shopping cart system that I created and I have come to the conclusion that shipping can be one of the most complicated parts to deal with. All your comments and reasonings are things that I have toiled over myself. Some people base their shipping on simple calculations like the order total, or the total weight of the order. But there are others who's arrangements are much more complicated. I don't see any simple answer to your solution. I've literally spent months working through ways to do calculations based on a number of shipping parameters. I just don't see any way around it. It sounds like your situation has different factors than my own. No matter ... it's all complicated. You have 3 choices: 1) Create a quantum-mechanics shipping system that works using the theory that there are 10 (not 11) dimensions in the universe. Study a little string-theory in the process. 2) Simplify your system so that MOST situations will work so that you can price the majority of orders in the most competitive way. 3) Use some entirely different method to calculate shipping thereby avoiding the issue. My endeavor to create #1 was an fulfilling adventure. The person requiring special things in their shipping arrangement CHANGED their shipping arrangements and completely altered how they calculated shipping. Months of work flushed. So be careful how much time you put into these kinds of projects. Be sure you can used them with other shippers. Oh ... good luck and let me know what you end up doing!

I have not read the link in detail. But I did read a few points. Excellent find from what I can tell for those trying to figure out e-mail headers. Wished I had something like this years ago. I think we need a new section to start collecting some of these great tools. Thanks for passing it on!

Has anyone checked snopes (the website) on this? There might be something on the new worm there. I've also been on LiveChat all day and nobody as said anything about this today. It's been very quiet actually.

I've been on the forums all day and I didn't notice anything. This sounds like the new worm that went loose on the internet. How is your virus protection? Are there any other symptoms?

I can partially answer that ... Unless a user ID is unintentionally offensive, the randomness yields a level of security for your account and for the TCH servers. User names that resemble the domain names and/or are common are easier for people to guess and erode the security of your website. Let's not make it any easier for those meaning to do harm to you or TCH by keeping these random user IDs whenever possible.

I would agree with your throught-process on this. PayPal does provide their own SSL connection, so I would not think you would need to have your own. If you did, Andy's information is correct.

Hi Jaz. Welcome to the forums. My experience has been that what ever the maximum broad-band speed you have is what you can download via FTP. I have personally experienced 400kbs, which tapped out my connection. Others have maxed out their connection at 600kbs. It's as fast as I can take data down from all that I have experienced. Hope this helps!

All complaints that TCH receives are looked into individually. If someone complains that your website contains copyrighted material, and this claim can be substantiated, your website could be suspended. We cannot host websites that contain illegal content. I would suggest that if belive this may be the case that you open up conversations with the people who are complaining about the things on your website and try to resolve it between the two of you. Generally a lack of communication in matters like this grows distrust between persons and things could escelate when there is no need for them to do so. I hope that you can work this out and that there is no need for them to go any further with this. Working with you,
