  1. now i get

    Parse error: parse error, unexpected $, expecting ',' or ';' in /home/deathea/public_html/khaleel/xmb/shop_item.php(245) : eval()'d code on line 21

    where 245 represents the line:

    eval("echo (\"".template('shop_confirm')."\")");

    and line 21 reads

    $query = $db->query("SELECT id FROM $table_shop_items WHERE cid='$cid' ORDER BY dateline DESC LIMIT 0, 1");

  2. I learned just like you. Best thing to do is go to

    http://www.w3schools.com/html/default.asp and progress to css

    but if you want a fun free simple way, i suggest my favorite

    http://www.lissaexplains.com/

    check there forums out http://www.lissaexplains.com/forum/

    you can ask anything and get a reply. dont need to buy any software yet use NotePad or Microsoft Word html editor or even use the HTML editor you get on CPanel > File Manager and html editor can be assed when click files. see this http://www.smallpond.com.au/web_help/cpanel_file_editor.htm

  3. How about. Using this memberScript ive attached.

    1) make a page for guests telling them to access the members page you need to pay etc

    2) use the scripts register file for your new account maker.

    3) once they have signed up you can see there email address and username in the admin panel only you can access (passwords are encrypted)

    4) these members can access a temp welcome page

    5) send them an invoice for the fee

    6) once paypal clears it up and you got your money go to the members area and change there user permissions to a different level

    levels

    0 = guests

    1= signed up awaiting billing info

    2 = member can use memberarea to full

    3 = only admins like you

    hope that helps

    (memberscript is freeware from mikehollaway.co.uk)

    membersArea.zip

  4. I did that, the code is now this:

    >eval("echo (\"".template('shop_confirm')."\")");
       } elseif ( isset($yessubmit) ) {
    	 $thatime = time();
    	 if ( $self['money'] >= $item['price'] && $item['stock'] != 0 ) {
       $chars = 'ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ0123456789abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz';
       $codepart = '';
       mt_srand((double)microtime() * 10 $k++){
      	 $codepart .= $chars[mt_rand(0, $ket)];
       }

    and it says now

    Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_VARIABLE in /home/deathea/public_html/khaleel/xmb/shop_item.php on line 251

    line 251 reads

    >mt_srand((double)microtime() * 10 $k++){

  5. Cheap prices, quick support, friendly forum support and friendly community chaps like the mad guy who talks about loving his pets :) , great advice, and consultancy. I dont know what else to say, simply the best host ive ever had! keep up the fantastic work!

    a question though, is there a ASP.NET or windows SQL or windows 2003 server option availble?

  6. Parse error: parse error, unexpected ';' in /home/deathea/public_html/khaleel/xmb/shop_item.php on line 252

    that line reads

    >   mt_srand((double)microtime() * 10; $k++){

    in case you need code around that line

    >eval("echo (\"".template('shop_confirm')."\");");
     } elseif ( isset($yessubmit) ) {
    	 $thatime = time();
    	 if ( $self['money'] >= $item['price'] && $item['stock'] != 0 ) {
       $chars = 'ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ0123456789abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz';
       $codepart = '';
       mt_srand((double)microtime() * 10; $k++){
      	 $codepart .= $chars[mt_rand(0, $ket)];
       }

       $thecode = $thatime.'-FunForum-'.$codepart;
