We are receiving a few help desk tickets without your log in and password information. Please note that you can increase our response time to your request if you list your user name and password. The help desk is on SSL, so you are on a secure server, so feel safe in entering that information. Also, please note that the user name and password is NOT your domain name (http://******), it is the actual user name and password that you use to log into your cPanel. Our goal is to provide the FASTEST customer response available, and providing complete information on the first help desk request will help us to provide you with the very BEST customer service available. Thanks again for using our services!

this email thing has me going crazy
Junior replied to dishman's topic in CPanel and Site Maintenance
1- do i have to enter them into the system? is there a way to have them make a account and then sign in right away? Yes, you will have to log into the cPanel and add the user and password 2 - when i put a login on my sitre for the web mail i go to sign in and ok itworks but next time i go to log in it automatically goes to the email from the first sign in my members use public computers i need to be able to sign in different users. You will need to click the "logout" icon to delete the cookie out of your browser. Failure to log out will leave the cookie, and the system will still think it is the same user each time. Thanks! -
Sorry for the downtime. We had a connectivity issue, but all should be resolved now. Thanks for using our services! Tony Tech Support Team

When you purchase a reseller account from us, you simply pay us your monthly fee. Then it is up to you to charge your clients their hosting fee, which is set by you. You will get a WHM (WebHost Manager) which gives you the power to add, delete, modify, and numerous other options to your accounts. You can even set up packages (which is the best way to sell hosting), and adding clients is a very simple process. You then bill them (you can require payment in advance, or pay after they are set up, it's your choice), and you can accept payments any way you want. TotalChoice Hosting will only bill you for the reseller account, not your clients. Your client payments are your responsibility. We hope to have you join us, and if you have any further questions, please feel free to ask. Tony Tech Support Team

The NASA Space Shuttle has crashed over Texas upon re-entry. Tune to ANY network or news station for details. The space shuttle Columbia, with seven astronauts aboard, broke up as it descended over central Texas Saturday toward a planned landing at Kennedy Space Center in Florida. Please remember their families, America and Israel during this time of loss. Just a couple of updates... 17 years ago, this week (on January 28) the Challenger exploded during takeoff. Also, here is a press release from NASA on the crash: NASA STATEMENT ON LOSS OF COMMUNICATIONS WITH COLUMBIA A Space Shuttle contingency has been declared in Mission Control, Houston, as a result of the loss of communication with the Space Shuttle Columbia at approximately 9 a.m. EST Saturday as it descended toward a landing at the Kennedy Space Center, Fla. It was scheduled to touchdown at 9:16 a.m. EST. Communication and tracking of the shuttle was lost at 9 a.m. EST at an altitude of about 203,000 feet in the area above north central Texas. At the time communications were lost. The shuttle was traveling approximately 12,500 miles per hour (Mach 18). No communication and tracking information were received in Mission Control after that time. Search and rescue teams in the Dallas-Fort Worth and in portions of East Texas have been alerted. Any debris that is located in the area that may be related to the Space Shuttle contingency should be avoided and may be hazardous as a result of toxic propellants used aboard the shuttle. The location of any possible debris should immediately be reported to local authorities. Available links to news sources Orlando Sentinel Orlando, Florida NASA Dallas Morning News Dallas, TX WFAA-TC Channel 8 Dallas/Ft. Worth, TX Link with video of crash EXTREMELY busy, and may be unable to connect UPDATE: NASA PRESS CONFERENCE SCHEDULED FOR 3 P.M. EST FEB. 1 A press conference by Space Shuttle Program Manager Ron Dittemore and Chief Flight Director Milt Heflin will take place from NASA's Johnson Space Center, Houston, beginning at 3 p.m. EST today. The briefing will be carried on NASA TV with two-way question and answer capability from other agency centers. A Space Shuttle contingency was declared earlier this morning in Mission Control when communication was lost with the Space Shuttle Columbia during its return to Earth following a 16-day mission. Communication and tracking of the shuttle was lost at 9 a.m. at an altitude of about 203,000 feet above north central Texas while traveling approximately 12,500 miles per hour (Mach 18). No communication and tracking information was received in Mission Control after that time. Flight controllers in Mission Control immediately began the process of securing all information, notes and data pertinent to today's reentry and landing. NASA TV is on AMC-2, Transponder 9C, vertical polarization at 85 degrees West longitude, 3880 MHz, with audio at 6.8 MHz. NOTE TO PERSONS IN THE AREA: All debris is United States Government property and is critical to the investigation of the shuttle accident. Any and all debris from the accident is to be left alone and reported to Government authorities. Unauthorized persons found in possession of accident debris will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. Please remember these fine astronauts who gave their life: STS-107 Flight: January 16-February 1, 2003 Crew: Commander Rick D. Husband (second flight), Pilot William C. McCool (first flight), Payload Specialist Michael P. Anderson (second flight), Mission Specialist Kalpana Chawla (second flight), Mission Specialist David M. Brown (first flight), Mission Specialist Laurel B. Clark (first flight), Payload Specialist Ilan Ramon, Israel (first flight)

Yes, you would be able to set up the web site without anything special on it. You would only have one email address, since you would need cPanel access to add additional email accounts, but if youi could ftp your site up, it would not be an issue about getting it online. Maybe, at some later date, you would be able to get access to cPanel, and add some of the 'bonus' features, that are only available by cPanel access.

Please make certain you are using the correct help desk. Our new help desk is located at https://ssl.totalchoicehosting.com/cgi-bin/pdesk.cgi and this is the help desk where all support requests are received. Help desk tickets at the old help desk can be delayed for some time, as we do not use that area anymore.

Well, folks, in the line of duty, trying to repair an issue with our forums, our database has crashed. We have made EVERY attempt to restore it, however, that attempt has failed. What does this mean? Simply put, all messages that have been posted since our move on Saturday have been lost. We are able to restore a backup from Sunday, and that will include all messages up to Sunday AM. We deeply apologize for this error! We tried every possible remedy to hold and restore all messages, however, as most of you already know, when you are dealing with data, sometimes is simply isn't possible to do what you have intended. If any messages were posted, pending a response, PLEASE post the message again, and we will answer as promply as possible. Also, if you have registered for the forum since Saturday, you will need to register again. Thanks for your understanding during this matter and again, we sincerely apologize.

An answer from Head Guru in a previous post on January 6....... 'Just submit a help desk ticket, and they will upgrade you straight away'.

Great! Welcome to SNH! If we can help in any way, just let us know!

If you didn't list any nameservers, it is parked. Once you get your welcome letter, it will list the two nameservers that you need to list with your domain, and you will need to go back to your registrar and submit those changes. Most all registrars have a link where you can log in and make modifications to your information. Once you submit those changes, that is when the 24-72 hours start to get than name in the correct nameservers. Once it does get pointed to SNH, then you will be able to access your domain by it's name. Have you received anything from your registrar on the registration yet?
-
Unfortuantely, I can't see the info on your domain name yet. I went to your registrar's website, and they actually show it still being available for purchase, but I checked it with GoDaddy, and it shows that it is taken (by you, I am sure), but the information associated with your domain isn't visible yet. When you purchased it, did you list any nameservers, or did you park it?
-
Welcome to your new home! You will love it here, and we are glad to have you, and we will do our very best to help you in any way. Once the name servers are pointed to us, *usually* it is propogated in 24 to 48 hours (the most I have ever had to wait was about 24 hours), but once you get your welcome email, you will have a link to access your site (without a domain name), and then you can get to work on getting your web site set up. This way, once the nameservers do get updated, chance are, you will already have your site up and waiting! What is your doman name that you registered, and I will look and see what shows up?
-
Have you purchased a hosting package with *****? If so, in your welcome email (if you haven't received it yet, you will before long) will be instructions on how to set up your web site. You will have to list the name servers for us for your domain name. Who did you purchase the domain name thru? If you did not list ***** as your name servers, that will have to be changed with your registrar, then it will have to propogate thru the name servers. This will usually take 24-72 hours. Once that is done, you will be able to access your web site using your domain name. The welcome letter you received/will receive from us will have detailed instructions on how to access your web site prior to the nameserves being updated, so you can get your site ready. If you haven't received the welcome letter, please be patient. We are very busy processing orders, and will get to yours shortly.

I'm glad to have helped. If you do not receive alot of email, it should not pose a problem at all. Let us know if we can help in any other way!
