I am afraid, this is going to be a restore. The raid is deteriorating to the point of loosing it all together. We are building a new server and then will be restoring the accounts using the backup we have on the secondary disk. I will let you know more once Eric has things rolling.

What is happening to incoming email during this outage?

As far as I know, it would depend on the sending server. Some will try to resend emails for a few days before it decides that the email is undeliverable.

Once you have fully restored from backup, would you please let us know the date and time of that backup image, so I can determine if I need to re-upload the latest data from any of the 35 domain accounts I have on this server. Thanks.

server prep is complete, we will be starting the restore in a few minutes from now. Please do not do anything on the accounts till the restore is reported as complete.

Restore is complete, we are now working on post restore tweaks. The accounts were restored using the weekly backup that was available on the server after which public_html, emails and mysql database were synced from the old disk. So we expect the data to be current. If you are seeing any issues, please contact our support department by opening a ticket. We will gladly check it out.

The MySQL database is certainly not current. I know for sure it is at least 2 days out of date, perhaps more. Entries from Feb 29 and Mar 1st are certainly not present.

Are there additional database files to restore or is this as far as it goes?

I know you guys have had a long day, and I appreciate the hard work. I am still unable to access some of my sites. Please post when your post restoration tweaks are complete so if I am still having trouble I can open a ticket.

My MySQL database appears to be about 7 days behind.

Tweaks are complete. I just tested the mysql databases and was not able to see any new data to sync from the disk. Please note that the accounts were restored from the weekly backup that was run last Fri and then I had to manually sync the files from the failing disk. There might be a possibility that your files might have got affected by the disk issue and why it is not having the latest data. But, we do have offline backups running twice a day, with 7 days of retention. If you can open a ticket with the database name, we will gladly get it from the remote backup.
