Restricted Area Of Websites

I have developed a website for an organization and it is available for public viewing. Now, they would like a section to be for "Members Only" where members would register and be assigned a username and password automatically. This would be for online registration of events, discussion forums and possibly other options. Does anyone know of some inexpensive software that would be supported on TCH servers that I could generate pages for the restricted area of the website.

Hi bryangr.

In Cpanel you can use the option of Site Management / Web Protect, you can attribute login and passwords for folders .

Another option would be to make its site using one CMS (Content Management System).

This is available in its Cpanel / Content Management System.

Some options exist :

Drupal

Geeklog

Joomla

Mambo Open Source

PHP-Nuke

phpWCMS

phpWebSite

Post-Nuke

Siteframe

TYPO3

Xoops

Good luck for you and

Welcome to the forum TCH.
