  1. Baltimore, too. At first sight some index.php files have been added in various folders. Found and replaced all those on my site. Haven't noticed anything else being affected yet.
  2. Couple hours ago i received the log in details for the hosting account which i ordered earlier today. During the setup i said i wanted a domain name as well, so when i got the email from TCH with all the account details it already mentioned the .com domain name i have chosen, so i figured it must be reserved for me? When i wanted to pay for it, i went to the TCH domain-registration site and set up an account there, filled in all info and checked the paypal option. It provided a link to the paypal site and said that the 'return to merchant' button will return me to the TCH site to complete checkout, but the button on the paypal site reverted me to the paypal main page instead of going back to TCH. So i went back to the TCH domain-registration site 'manually' and tried to log into my account (which was supposedly created while i bought the domain name) but the account did not exist. I repeated the whole process but with the same results : 'back to merchant' button not working and no account. So then i set up an account seperately and tried to register a domain-name for the 3rd time using paypal after the account was created and i verified it existed, but the 'back to merchant' button didn't work again and since i have no domains to manage in my account i assume the order didn't go through? Is this payment delayed or did it simply not work? I can pay with credit card, but before i try that i want to know for sure that my paypal account won't get billed 3 times as i tried to buy it 3 times. Just recently i noticed i have 3 emails from paypal, all saying 'Your Billing Agreement with Domain Names/Hosting Services has been created' but none of these emails said something about actually having registered a name and it doesn't seem like any money was taken from my paypal balance. And since the first 2 times no account on the domain-registration site was created i assumed the order did not happen. Is this a common error (with the 'back to merchant' button) or am i doing something wrong or did i overlook something? As i said if the registration did not happen i can try again with my credit card, but i wanted to know for sure first. Thanx.
  3. Ever since i started comparing hosing companies, TCH has been my fave and i haven't found one yet i like better. So real soon i'll be registering an account at TCH. I was planning to wait a week or two to prepare for the move of my sites, but the domain i'm currently on ( darkwood.com ) was hacked last week and although damage to my sites is minimal, i'm now hearing that darkwood might have to close since the damage the attack did caused some serious problems. So i don't have much time left or i might end up being site-less for a few days...
  4. Allright that's good then. Mostly it will be files of up to 20 megabytes, the really big ones are rare...
  5. Hello, I've been looking for a new and solid host for my site which has been on different hosts for the past 4 years. After quite some comparing TCH is my fave (good prices, lots of good reviews from customers and im convinced the support is some of the best i've ever seen) but i have one question. My site is about music and animations i make and sometimes i'd like to be able to have some samples of my work online, these could easily be as big as 100 or even 150 megabytes (avi or mov files). Being able to upload big files is quite important, so i'd like to know if there's a limit to the size of files i can upload and let other people download. thanx.
