Mrs. Muddled Posted May 20, 2011 Share Posted May 20, 2011 We are slowly losing our minds here. We have just spent HOURS trying to set up my husband's new HP laptop. He's trying to set up his email account and we cannot figure out how to get the @ key to work. It is likely going to be something incredibly obvious, but so far we can only get a 2 out of the key. After wasting HOURS trying to get this "thing" to function we were told to hold down the pause key and hit the @ (or 2 key) we also had to remove the blue "French" keys. We've now forgotten how we got rid of the French. Our brains are collectively scrambled trying to set up this Windows 7 HP notebook. Thanks for your reply Thomas.
