GroovyFish
I don't know if I am the only one that didn't know about this, but I installed it today and am in love with it. Firefox Web Developer Extension "Adds a menu and a toolbar to the browser with various web developer tools. Current tools include converting form POSTs to GETs, hiding images, outlining block level elements, and disabling styles." I am chiefly in love with the CSS tool. I am working on a shopping cart with huge CSS file that isn't commented very well and I can never remember what controls what, so now in Firefox I can view the ID and Class details for each item on the whole page. You can get it here if you are interested. h**p://update.mozilla.org/extensions/moreinfo.php?id=
LisaJill
yes, this is yummy, I've been using it for a long time now - helped so much on every one of my pages. It's one of the main reasons I don't use Opera or Safari for that matter...

TCH-Thomas
What is this extension supposed to do. All it did in my firefox was to add a shortcut to mozdev.org.
TCH-Bruce
Did you close and reopen Firefox? It should have created a toolbar and right click menu with Web Devloper tools.
TCH-Thomas
Yup. I tried download/install and reopen a few more times, no luck

TCH-Bruce
Thomas, in Firefox select Tools from the menu at the top and then select Extensions. Is the Web Developer extension installed? If so highlight and uninstall it. Then try installing it again. If it's not in the list it didn't install.

bizmo
I apologize if this has been posted here already. I know I saw it somewhere here, but I did a search and couldn't find it. Anyways, a very nifty little tool for Firefox is the Web Developer Toolbar extension. The best feature is being able to edit CSS and see the results instantly in your browser. Again, sorry if this is a repeat, but hey, if it is, it's worth repeating.
