  1. Wow, this is the question I was going to ask or something similiar anyway. Ok, I haven't been active on my website and I know you've done a lot of changes. I used to get into my cpanel and webmail but can't now, I was given another url with #'s in them but I can't remember them. This is what I used to do www.domain.com/cpanel & www.domain.com/webmail neither works, rather then using ip which doesn't work for me as well or port #'s how can I access my site with a url using letters only? Thanks.
  2. I found almost all text editors will choke on the logs. Tried 20 so far and only 2 work and not too well. Does anyone has one that works fast and is easy to use? Thanks. btw my log file for the month of december is 60mb large.
  3. What text editors do you use to read log?
  4. I don't unless there is some problem, I turned on all logging when I started. I don't know how to turn it off. They do come in handy when something goes wrong or I have to track something down. Other then that they take up huge amounts of space.
  5. Thank you. between that and the logs I removed over 65mb.
  6. Did I post in the wrong section or is it no one knows the answer?
  7. I have a 300mb storage, right now my disk usage is 186mb. 60mb is just for logs, how can I reduce or eliminate the log file? Thanks. btw the log file is of no use to me because my text editor chokes on it.
  8. I have a bunch of neomail folders in the main folder, how do I delete these? Can I just delete or is there someway to do it. I have gotten most of the users on squirrel mail so its not needed. Thanks for any advice.
  9. How can I find out what a password is for a database?
  10. Thanks. Sorry, I guess I didn't understand that. Yes its stuff from february and march. I'll just delete the contents of the folder. Thanks again.
  11. Hmm, I still don't know the answer, which is why I posted this question in the first place. Would you say live with it? or is it ok to delete the tmp folder? or if not is it ok to delete the contents of the tmp folder? Thanks for your advice.
  12. The reason I ask is that my tmp folder is I think around 47mb, and the entire website takes 82mb. I don't want that much junk if it is junk, its mainly stats, charts, webalyzer, and stuff. If I can delete the tmp folder stuff then my entire website will shrink down to around 40mb or so.
  13. Thanks for the info. So will this affect the operation of the website in any way? And if I do delete it, should I delete the tmp folder or just the stuff thats inside? Thanks again.
  14. If you already have a dial up modem isntalled then you can dial in and see for yourself, you can use modem strings to limit to connections to different speeds. Check with your DSL/Cable co for the free dial up access. They give you free dial up in case the connection or system is down. I have SBC at work and they give a free dial up as long as you're within a 5 mile radius from where the hookup is installed. Good Luck!
  15. I have tmp folders that are larger then the rest of the website, I want to delete this tmp folder or at least the folders/files within it. How do I do this and should this be done? Thanks.
