  1. I'm trying to set up the google apps emails, it says i have to edit the MX records. I looked over every thing i could think of on cpanel and couldn't find it. Where is it?
  2. okay thanks, i was just wondering if there was a safer way to do it.
  3. it works if i set the chmod to 777 on the folder i wanna put the cache file into, but is that safe to do so?
  4. Hey, I need some help, I'm rewriting a script that parses an rss, to make my site load faster i'm adding code to cache what i need into a file. So that i only read it every hour rather than every page load. Here's what it says: line x looks like that: so it can't open the file to read it. I would apreciate if someone told me if i have to change the chmod and to what. My concern is that i only want to give it the minimum permision to do that so that no one can modify that file other than the server. please let me know what i can do. thanks in advance
  5. I though i'd add a login so i can check my mail any where. I knew i didn't want to use horde or neomail because my school blocks 2029 or what ever it is so i tried to do with squirrel and while i'm at it i though i'd do an embedded loggin. so i did my form and it wasn't working i was getting a 404 using ><form method="post" action="http://your.host.com/mail/src/redirect.php"> so i went to the live chat and i was told to use sqmail so i ended up with: ><form method="post" action="http://www.mydomainname.com/sqmail/src/login.php"> so then it get a bunch of php errors: >Warning: Unknown(): open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/usr/local/squirrelmail-1.4.3a/src/login.php) is not within the allowed path(s): (/home/myusername/:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php:/tmp) in Unknown on line 0 Warning: Unknown(/usr/local/squirrelmail-1.4.3a/src/login.php): failed to open stream: Operation not permitted in Unknown on line 0 Warning: Unknown(): open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/usr/local/squirrelmail-1.4.3a/src/login.php) is not within the allowed path(s): (/home/myusername/:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php:/tmp) in Unknown on line 0 Warning: Unknown(/usr/local/squirrelmail-1.4.3a/src/login.php): failed to open stream: Operation not permitted in Unknown on line 0 Warning: (null)(): Failed opening '/usr/local/squirrelmail-1.4.3a/src/login.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in Unknown on line 0 and the person at the live support told me that he couldn't help me with coding and ... and said i had to go to the forums . so hmm can some one help me? it seems like sqmail isn't working since i get the same error with ****/sqmail/
