Every Note, Ever Written

Hey Family!

I found a program I think is great that I wanted to share with everyone. If you ever keep notes laying around on scraps of paper or in a bazillion little text files on the hard drive then you may be interested.

EverNote is a program they describe as:

Quickly create, organize and find any type of notes on an endless, digital roll of paper.

It lets you create notes and store them on their digital roll of paper, categorize notes, digitally search for any text within. You can also cut and paste from the clipboard and even highlight a section of a web page and click on a button it adds to your browser (IE and FireFox) and it will save that portion as a note with a link to the URL source!

This program is really nice and actively developed so expect more from it as time goes by. The basic version is free. The version that handles "ink" (handwriting/drawing on tablets) is for a small fee.

If anyone gets it and finds it useful make sure you post here to let us know what it's doing for you. ;) I'm using it to save the cost of post-it's, store information I want later and to keep a set of pat-answers for forums and work issues where the same answer is given over and over again.

Ok, I took the chance and downloaded it and tried it, and I love it, I do web design and I need to have different styles of web ideas, this is a great place to keep them

Very, very nice.

I have tons of txt files with CSS and XHTML snippets, personal notes, pat answers for a forum I moderate, etc .. this will come in useful.

And the UI is easy on the eyes, too.

Don't forget to check their help (F1) and forums too... being fairly new it's got some cool features that are not immediately obvious like a wildcard search feature.
