Powelly
I don’t have the tools to create a logo/header myself. I need a banner to sit at the top of the forum, I only require a simple one….. Something like the one they have on this site ……….. http://www.brfcforum.co.uk/index.php?act=idx However rather than their badge/crest (on the left) I need the Cheltenham one, link below. http://www.nutrocker.co.uk/images/60x60/so...tenham_town.jpg Then next to that, like on the other forum listed I’d need the clubs name in capitals “CHELTENHAM TOWN FOOTBALL CLUB” Under this in a font similar again to the forum I posted above can I have written in lower case……. “ctfc talk” The background of the banner/header/logo to be red and the size to fit so it sits across the top of the forum reaching from one end to the other again like the one posted above. I’m not too fussy on the height within reason. Any takers, it may sound a lot, but I really do feel it’s a pretty basic image. Would be a huge help. www.ctfctalk.com Edited January 22, 2006 by Powelly
TCH-Rob
Anyone responding to this may not talk about doing it for a fee. Those responses must be via PM. Now, to make it fit all the way across the screen, I would set the image to be about 700px across and then make the background red to match. That way if I have my monitor at 1024 or at 800 in width It will still appear to go all the way across the page yet there will be no scroll bars. Just goofing around for five minutes and I came up with the fillowing. I am not good with graphics so if you want something outstanding you may have to wait to see if there are any others that want to assist. TCH-Rob
Well, you could download a free trial of photoshop or get Gimp and do it yourself if you'd like. Unfortunately, I have other things that require my time.
Deverill
By the way, Gimp is nearly (?) as powerful as Photoshop but is free to use!
TCH-Tim
I've even seen a plugin for the GIMP that makes it look like Photoshop. Mostly. Eases the pain of switching.
