boxturt
This is not so much fun and games as it is a humorous and ironic observation: When composing a letter in Thunderbird 1.5 with spell-check the word 'internet' is flagged as a missplelled word. TCH-Bruce
Yes it does, but if you capitialize it (Internet) no misspelling.
TCH-Tim
If you look it up, you will find the following definitions: internet - n. a computer network consisting of a worldwide network of computer networks that use the TCP/IP network protocols to facilitate data transmission and exchangeand thenInternet - n. the largest internet in the world My guess is that typically when somebody types internet, they mean Internet. Otherwise, they would probably say WAN or network or whatever. If you are talking about an internet, go lowercase. If you are talking about the Internet, use uppercase. I use the capitalized version and every now and then somebody will try to correct me, but my spellcheckers always agree.
