I'm trying to set up a cron job. I've been able to get a command line to run every 10 minutes (for testing) so I'm happy that cron itself is working.
The command line I'm using is:
php -q /home/myservername/public_html/wp-cron.php?_nonce=818e7a73&backwpup_run=runext&jobid=2
which returns 'No input file specified'.
---------------------------------------------
I've tried:
php -q http://mydomainname/wp-cron.php?_nonce=818e7a73&backwpup_run=runext&jobid=2
using EasyCron.com with success.
---------------------------------------------
After the success with EasyCron I tried:
php -q http://mydomainname/wp-cron.php?_nonce=818e7a73&backwpup_run=runext&jobid=2
which returned 'No input file specified'.
---------------------------------------------
Any ideas where I'm going wrong?
That's done the trick. Just one of the myriad options I haven't noticed before. Perhaps I should have gone to SpecSavers.
Thanks for you prompt response (as always).
As above. Is there a roll-out plan for updating the server, is there something I need to do at my end to change to the current version, or do you need a ticket so you can update the particular domain?
