Forum Guidelines

The rules for TotalChoice Hosting’s Family Forums are simple: be polite and use common sense. Family Members should act like Family!

We do not intend to censor the forums but we do reserve the right to move, modify or remove posts at our discretion. If you have a question about where your topic went, please PM a Moderator or Administrator before starting a new topic asking where it went, or posting a duplicate of the original topic. We will be happy to provide you with a link to the new location, or a reason why it was locked and/or removed.


Family Members are permitted a maximum of one account per person. Companies can utilize multiple accounts but it should be noted.


Impersonation of TotalChoice Hosting Admins, Staff members, or Moderators is prohibited. False representation of yourself as a TotalChoice Hosting employee will result in immediate termination of your TotalChoice Hosting forum account. This includes the use/selection of your Forum username, signature, or avatar that may lead anyone to believe you represent TotalChoice Hosting.


Signatures:

o Must be setup in your profile, and not manually added to your messages.

o May not contain advertisements.

o May not contain any external hosted links.

o May not contain more than four links.

o Maximum font size cannot be larger than normal.

o May not contain links to other threads or posts.

o Signatures may contain images, as long as they are small and unobtrusive (i.e., not animated or distracting in some way). "Banners" are not permitted. Images may not exceed 95 pixels in width and can be no larger than 31 pixels tall.

o Any signature that is offensive or insulting to either TotalChoice Hosting, its members, or its staff, are prohibited.

o All signatures must be in the English language or have an English translation.

o We reserve the right to change and/or remove your signature at any time, for any reason. You will be notified by a moderator that it has violated the guidelines or otherwise been deemed inappropriate.


We enforce a strict policy regarding solicitation of our members by Forum participants. Spamming the forums will lead to membership revocation. This includes the use of the Personal Messaging System, Email, and Signatures.


o All publicly displayed messages are limited to the English language.

o Family Members or others may not use the Forum for commercial gain.

o Family Members or others may not use the Forum for advertising or to drive traffic to their site.

o Family Members or others may not create duplicate threads (cross-posting).

o Family Members or others may not take threads off topic (hijacking).

o Family Members or others should not use the “Report this thread to a moderator” feature for the sole purpose of getting a staff member to read or reply to the thread.

o Family Members or others may not post any commission, referral or affiliate links anywhere on the Forum.

o Family Members or others may not bump threads.

o The use of abusive or profane language of any type is forbidden.

o Posting links to adult content or adult material of any kind is forbidden. Our audience includes minors so post appropriately.

o Posting or Discussing the use of Pirated or "Warez" software is forbidden.

o To keep the tone of our user forums friendly and professional there will be no discussion of religion and politics. This applies to signatures as well.

o Please use the Help Desk for Server, Billing, or any other issues with your Hosting account, as the forums are not intended to provide one on one support..

o Excessive quoting: Please do not excessively quote your replies. If you are responding to the post just above there is no need to quote.


We take the "Family" atmosphere of our forums VERY seriously! We do not tolerate ANY rudeness. Any member who is intentionally unpleasant or disruptive will receive a warning and if the member offends again the member will be banned until such time as determined by a moderator or admin.


In light of our policy of encouraging candid, open exchanges of views and the rapid distribution of information originating from many sources, TotalChoice Hosting cannot determine the accuracy of information that may be uploaded to the Forum.


Opinions, advice and all other information expressed by participants in discussions are those of the author. You rely on such information solely at your own risk. Participants are urged to seek professional advice for specific, individual situations and not rely solely on advice or opinions given in the discussions. TotalChoice Hosting, LLC. assumes no liability for the contents of these forums.


Privacy Policy: We will not release any member information unless ordered to do so.


We reserve the right to modify and amend these terms at any time without notice.


ANY abuse toward TCH staff and/or management will result in immediate suspension of your account.
