  1. OK. I understand that. As an additional question then, Is there anyone (with a Silver Hosting package) running Moodle that has had any bandwidth problems and have they been requested to move up to a dedicated server? Any feedback would be greatly apreciated. G
  2. I know that this topic has been addressed in the past. But with the updates to the TCH servers over the past year I wanted to take a new look. I have a Silver Hosting account and am considering loading Moodle. Has anyone had any TCH server related problems lately? Thanks for the info (in advance). Gary
  3. You may have to pull your website files from the server. I also use FP to build my sites but I recently started FTPing them to the server. This real easy....and better than using FP to "publish" your site. There are many free FTP programs you can download. Using FTP instead of "publishing" from FP you will be able to pull your files from the server to you computer more easily.
  4. Looks like thihs may be due to the upgrade of your server by TCH. I also had the same kind of problem. I openned a ticket with the help desk ( https://ssl.totalchoicehosting.com/supportdesk/ ) and they fixed the problem. Give it a shot. G
  5. I can't seem to get my FrontPage created form to work on my Subdomain webpage. I created it the same way I always do but when a visitor clicks 'submit' they get a pop-up requesting a user name and a password. I didn't password protect anything so I'm confused. Is there a step that I am missing here? Any help would be great. Thanks
  6. Will some one take a look at this code and tell me if there is an error. After the page is published and you visit it on the web, when you click "submit", a password box pops up. But I did not passwrod protect it. ><form method="POST" action="--WEBBOT-SELF--" onSubmit="location.href='_derived/nortbots.htm';return false;" webbot-onSubmit name="Send -A- Comment"> <!--webbot bot="SaveResults" s-email-format="TEXT/PRE" s-email-address="webmaster@mproductions.com" b-email-label-fields="TRUE" b-email-subject-from-field="FALSE" s-email-subject="Send -A- Comment" s-builtin-fields startspan --><strong>[FrontPage Save Results Component]</strong><!--webbot bot="SaveResults" endspan i-checksum="6561" --><div align="left"> <table border="0" cellspacing="1" width="104%" id="AutoNumber6" height="127"><tr> <td width="23%" align="right" height="35"><font face="Arial" size="1">Your Name: </font></td> <td width="77%" height="35"> <input type="text" name="NAME" size="30" tabindex="1" style="font-family: Arial; color: #000000; font-size: 10pt"></td> </tr> <tr> <td width="23%" align="right" height="33"><font face="Arial" size="1">Your Email: </font></td> <td width="77%" height="33"> <input type="text" name="EMAIL" size="35" tabindex="2" style="color: #000000; font-family: Arial; font-size: 8pt"></td> </tr> <tr> <td width="23%" align="right" height="50"><font face="Arial" size="1">Your Comments: </font></td> <td width="77%" height="50"> <textarea rows="4" name="COMMENTS" cols="60" tabindex="3" style="font-family: Arial; color: #000000; font-size: 8pt"></textarea></td> </tr> </table> </div> <p align="center"><input type="submit" value="Submit" name="submit" style="color: #800000; font-family: Signboard; font-size: 8pt"> <input type="reset" value="Reset" name="reset" style="color: #800000; font-family: Signboard; font-size: 8pt"></p> </form> Thanks
  7. THAT WORKED!!!!!! Thanks, Don. If you have any other FP help stuff, point me there. The "help desk" is not to helpful.
  8. Thanks Don, Looks good so far. I'll give it a try.
  9. Up until recently I was able to publish to a sub-domain. (example: http://www.familyweb.mywebsite.com) However, now it won't publish. I made no changes to the file structture or my FP settings. I went to cpanel and noticed that the FP extensions were "not installed" so I attempted to re-install them. But I get an error message as follows: Attempting to install FrontPage extensions... /home/xxxxxx/public_html/familyweb does not exist or is not a directory! FrontPage extensions are currently: not installed Help desk is telling me the following: FP extensions do not work for subdomains. It works only for main domain. Please use the FP extensions for the main domain and browse through the directories and upload files to your subdomain directory. Let me know if you need any thing else. WELL they did before!! (???) Unless I'm missing something, I was publishing this way before. Why will it not work now? Any help would be great. Thanks Mad!!!
  10. Can someone tell how to publish to a sub-domain with FP? Thanks
  11. I just tried a couple of different things and it seems that I have to enter my domain account username and password for it to work. Somethings not right. Any help??
  12. I added a link on my site. The sends you to a subdomain that is pasword protected. I enter the password and get in ok. I have a form to complete on the protected subdomain and the results are set up to be sent to my email. I complete the form and click "submit". Here where the problem comes in.... After I click submit, the user name/password block opens, so I enter my user name/password again and hit enter. The user name/password block opens up again. This happens 3 times total and then I get the message below. What am I doing wrong? Authorization Required This server could not verify that you are authorized to access the document requested. Either you supplied the wrong credentials (e.g., bad password), or your browser doesn't understand how to supply the credentials required. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. I am using Frontpaga 2002 to build my site and forms. Any thoughts? Thanks
  13. Does anyone know how to set up a password entry requirement with FrontPage (2002)? I want to have visitors enter a password to veiw my site. Thanks
  14. I want to create a form that visitors to my site can enter data to join a membership to certain parts of my site. I want to generate a user id and password for each with and automatic expiration date (like good for 90 days). I use Frontpage 2002. Any help?? Thanks
