  1. Thanks so much for your quick responses. Yeah, I checked for another .thm file and can't find it, so I put a ticket in. Thanks again, Laura
  2. Hi - this question feels sooo lame. I'm building a new site and uploaded all the files and voila! Still getting the CPanel/Apache place holder. Everything is under public_html, and I have a file called index.html. Any thoughts? Thanks!
  3. Hello, I've been linking to you for 2 years and have previously been listed on your site page. I've read the pinned notices and I was not one of the domains listed as unreachable. Please reinstate me asap. Your link is on every page in my site, starting at www.handmade-invitations.com Thank you, Laura Collins
  4. Okay - I found the answer. For those who are interested, here it is: http://fixingtheweb.com/country/blocking.html
  5. Hi all, I've done some searching but can't find any info. Is there a way to block IPs from a certain part of the world - such as Nigeria, Hong Kong etc. I find that certain areas are prone to hacking and other mischief and I'd like to just avoid it all. Additionally, there are many countries I do not ship to and it would just make life easier. THanks, Laura
  6. Forgive me, I don't know if this is the right forum to post this, but it seems to be. I've recently migrated to a Zen-Cart web configuration. All is well, but I've been reading about the downside because of "dirty URLS'. I'm a bit freaked because it took 5 years to get my internet presence where I want it. So, I've heard of using .htaccess and rewrite engine. As I don't write code (only hack it), I would be grateful for any direction, tutorials, FAQs, or whatever, so I can start implementing some sort of solution and protect my internet presence. Thanks in advance, Laura
  7. Hi, I've successfully migrated to Zen-cart, but initially put it in a subdir of public_html (called public_html). Now that I want my redirects to maintain the root , I'd like to move the sub dir public_html and make it the root public_html. Question, since this was installed using Fantastico, I really don't know what is going on behind the scenes. If I move it, will something break? Or does the helpdesk have to assist in this process. This is my first hands on experience with this type of app and I'm not back end database savvy. Thanks so much, Laura
  8. ya don't know what ya have until you lose it...
  9. Thanks, 18 hours later, I feel like I've been around the block with this a few times!
  10. Well, I have a unique solution. I'm rebuilding my entire site with Zen-Cart. I usually don't do things the easy way,
  11. Hi all, I have started adding paypal buttons to my site to start selling certain products online. However, it is a pain because there are volume discounts on most products. Tried the Zen cart interface via a site mentioned on this forum, and liked it, however didin't see a quantity discount option for certain quantities. Any info? Plus, As Paypal is easy to add to a currently live site (or take off) - will I have that same functionality with Zen Cart or do I need to create a different site. In other words, can I integrate it into my current live site, (and keep constructed pages offline while building?) Thanks! Laura
  12. I checked my code and all had absolute positions already there. Hmmm...
  13. Good morning all, I have a hidden form on my site for my clients to fill out so I can generate proofs with the information they give me at http://www.handmade-invitations.com/scripts/cis/cis.htm I would like for my clients to be able to save their work and come back to it. I realize that I need to have them to register somewhere to do this. What application/script/setup do I need to enable this functionality. I do my own web work, but do not program. I can, though, usually hack code to make it work on my site. Thank you, Laura
