  1. I'm still a newbie when it comes to optimization and search engine submission. Traffic blazer submits your site every 45 days. They also say that frequent submission can be viewed as "spam". How often is too often? How long is too long? Is 45 days a good period of time to wait between submissions? Just curious how often others submit and how well that works. Jason
  2. So just upgrade my regular account to a reseller account then, and not purchase a seperate reseller account?
  3. When I use the Webhosting Reseller Wizard to try to purchase a reseller account, I get the error that my email address or password is incorrect. I'm a current total choice customer (basic non-reseller account). Can I not add a reseller account to my current account? Do I need to fill out all my information again in order to set up a reseller account? Thanks. Jason
  4. I have an existing account with TCH, www.thelarsenfamily.us, which is a personal site I use for family photos, email and whatnot. My intent in the somewhat near future is to open a reseller account with TCH and a domain name I have not yet chosen (i.e. www.newname.xyz), in order to start a site for selling my services as a website designer and hosting those sites which I create. When I get to the point that I setup my reseller account with my main site being www.newname.xyz. I'd like to transfer my current account to my (future) reseller account so that I end up with only one account, that being my reseller account. Can this be done? Is that a simple process? Thank you, Jason
  5. Rob, Thanks for the tips. Could I ask you to elaborate on the following quote from your post? "I will give a hint though, use the information you gleen from using it on your index page and do the same to every page thereafter without TB." First is there a limit to how many pages you can submit using Traffic Blazer? What I mean to say is, "Can you only submit one page for the $30 fee?" Or is there another reason behind your suggestion other than saving money? If so, why do you suggest I do that? Other than the obvious fact that I'd be learning how to do it on my own. I mean why not submit all the pages for an entire site using Traffic Blazer and then use what I have learned for submitting future sites? Also, wouldn't the fact that it automates the process of submitting to search engines and resubmits them every 45 days be worth the $30 or is it really such a simple process that doing it on your own is cheaper and more effective? Thanks for the help, and sorry to bother you with so many questions. Anyway, TB can't be too bad, afterall, TCH sells it and they haven't steered me wrong yet.
  6. Let me start off by saying that I'm not real good at learning programming languages. I'm a GUI/drag-n-drop kind of guy, give my some software and I'll figure out how to use it. If you're talking just lines of text, that I'm not so good with. Plus I don't have a lot of spare time to learn any programming languages with a full-time job and a three year old son and all. I've been learning how to build websites using WebStudio, and I'm pleased with that software, but... I'd like to learn how to add scripts to my sites. It seems to me that Java scripts are easiest, at least as far as setup goes. With WebStudio I can easily paste scripts into a page, but I don't know beans about creating or editing them. I've looked around online and found a few free scripts, and some that are not so free, and for the most part I wouldn't know how to edit/customize them myself to fit my own needs. I have also seen WYSIWYG webdesign software that includes drag-n-drop editing features for scripts, at least for Java. I really don't want to purchase and/or learn new HTML software, that is, complete website building software. Does anyone here know af any simple to use (and preferably inexpensive) software for editing/creating Java scripts? Stand alone software to just create scripts, not overall site building or HTML editing software. Preferably something drag-n-drop, for us less programming oriented (and maybe just a bit lazy) types. Thanks, Jason P.S. I hope my lengthy post didn't confuse anyone, or put anyone to sleep.
  7. I'm already a total choice customer for my personal website. I'm contemplating getting a reseller account. I was just curious if the following statement from the "Acceptable use policy" applies to reseller accounts as well. "You may not conduct hostee or offer free web hosting to people based on your subdomains." Thanks, Jason
  8. ask.com search.com yahoo.com google.com av.com
  9. Does anyone here use Traffic Blazer? If so, does it work as well as their website claims? Would you recommend it? Thanks, Jason
  10. If you research other charities not on the above list I think you'll find that the 75% range is actually not as bad as you might think, in comparison anyway. Sad but true.
  11. My vote is for either the Make A Wish Foundation or Habitat for Humanity. Will there be a page on the TCH site listing the merchandise?
  12. A quick question about mebmail for anyone that has an answer. I have figured out how to attach a file when sending an email in Horde. How do I access an attached file sent to me in either NeoMail or Horde? Thanks.
  13. Well. I learned something today. Thanks for the info, twowheels.
