hi there everyone.. i have a very important question here i hope u could help me coz, i posted this on other forum but no one has answered me even once for a long time... here is goes...

is there a way i can automatically autosave or batch the saving of files in photoshop using the same condition of file size? i want my files bet. 110kb to 120 i want an automatic saving for it... can u pls. help me experts... thanx i'll appreciate it a lot...

here's the thing: im opening multile thumbs that needs to be resized in bytes for them to fit on space, there's a function in photoshop that can reduces it's filesize u desired which is >>> save for web, then click an arrow then an option of "optimize to file size" then u can enter the file size that u desired then it's finished.... it's good for individual files but what i really need is to have multiple file saving without going through that process over and over... if it's not possible pls. tell me... pls...

how about in other softwares, is there a function that do this thing? (this may also prove useful to others if this prob. will be solved???) thnx for helping....

Hi there.

I'm not an expert on Photoshop, so I can't help you with that. But:

I use ImageWalker (ht*p://www.imagewalker.com/), which does have a batch resizing function. It doesn't seem to have a setting for file size, only for image size, but maybe you can make it work for you.

PhotoshopCS has a batch feature for doing this and it also come with a gallery maker, Just select the pics you want and it does it all for the images and als makes the thumbnails and puts both in a separate dir. I have used it and it works well. You can also write an automated process to do it.
