  1. As TCH-Thomas stated, there is a mailing limit at TCH that is (in my opinion) pretty strict. When you exceed that limit, all outgoing mail for your domain is halted. That may be a problem, not just with lists but also with with regular email. For example, you can reach the TCH limit if a single user attempts to send an email to a large list of recipients. Suddenly, and without any notice, the emails sent by other users on your domain simply stop and may never reach their destination. I restrict the number of email users at our domain to help avoid the email limit problem. For our lists, we set up Dada Mail. Dada Mail will trickle a few emails out every minute. Hope this helps. -- Justin
  2. Recently, I set up Dada Mail in order to avoid running into the TCH mailing restrictions. I moved one of our 214 subscriber lists from Mailman to Dada Mail. A few days ago, the list moderator attempted to send message to the mtfoa-announce Dada Mail list. Somehow the message was broken and arrived in two separate mailings. On close examination, it looks there should have been a third section as the last part of the full message was missing. Another unusual fact was neither of the two messages displayed usual the list information at the bottom of the message. I looked at the Dada Mail archives of the mtfoa-announce list. There are three messages. The last two are the split message. Each one of the archived messages includes the list information at the bottom of the message. http://www.usatfne.org/cgi-bin/dada/mail.cgi/list/mtfoaan/ I posted a zipped file containing the two Dada Mail messages and the Dada Mail log at: http://usatfne.org/kuo/dadamail/attachments.zip Have you run into this problem before? Do you have any idea on what I need to do to prevent future messages from breaking up? Thank you. -- Justin
  3. I'm a novice to mailman and have a subscription list with 200+ subscribers. I would like to list all 200+ names and addresses. I know I can go to the "mailing list administration Membership Management... Section" and click on each letter in the alphabet, but wonder if there is an easier way to list the subscribers. I appreciate your help and look forward to your response. Thank you. -- Justin
  4. Most of my mail that is in the SPAM mailbox may be deleted immediately but occasionally I need look at that mail. That mailbox, however, fills up fast. If I forgot to purge the mail, then I receive the full mailbox notices every few days. Is there a simple technique or script that I can use to keep just the last 3 days of mail in the SPAM mailbox? Thank you. -- Justin
  5. As a novice, I could use a set of clear, step-by-step instructions. Although I have not tried this yet, I did find a set of instructions that may help: http://community.sjkhosting.com/t40-spam-assassin.html Another site had similar instructions to those on this TCH forum: http://movingparts.net/2004/12/15/training...-based-webhost/ Enjoy. -- Justin
  6. Thank turtle! I set up the user's forward to :fail:, tested and it works perfectly. -- Justin
  7. Recently, I deleted a few e-mail accounts from users that have not been with our organization for more than one year. Any E-mail message which are received after deleting those accounts are automatically forwarded to my webmaster account. Since most of those messages are bulk or junk I would like to simply return the messages to the sender. If the senders's list routine is sophisticated enough, the bounced users will automatically removed from the list. How do I set up the bounce via cpanel? I know how to accomplish this via Procmail, but there must be a more user friendly way. Thank you. -- Justin
