  1. Hi all, I gave an FTP account to a friend to use for picture hosting, and would like to limit the disk space usage to make sure we have space for other needs. How do you do that? I looked in the FTP manager and didn't see anything relevant. Also did a search here and nothing came up. Thanks for your help.
  2. Excellent, thank you. Does that mean my account is still limited to 5GB/month until the disk space upgrade is performed?
  3. Hello all, Just noticed that the Silver Plan is now 850MB / 20GB. That's a tremendous value for $5 a month. However, my cPanel still shows the old 500MB limit. Does that also mean I'm still under the old 5GB monthly transfer limit? Or have all silver accounts been upgraded to 20GB? Thanks!
  4. Going for the clean look. Thumbs Up
  5. Ahh maybe that's it. If I ever have to do this again, and good God I hope I don't, I'll put the board online before attempting a restore.
  6. Whoa ... I deleted the default database, created a new one with the same name, then uploaded the .sql file and it worked. Naughty Now I'm gonna try the 1.2F upgrade ... wish my luck
  7. Ticket # TNX-12830 ... thanks for all of your help I really appreciate it. Thumbs Up
  8. I've got it in the .gz I backed up and unzipped via WinZip to a .sql. I tried restoring both via the phpmyadmin steps you posted but both gave errors. Restoring the .sql gives this: Error SQL-query : CREATE TABLE ibf_admin_logs( id bigint( 20 ) NOT NULL AUTO_INCREMENT , act varchar( 255 ) default NULL , code varchar( 255 ) default NULL , member_id int( 10 ) default NULL , ctime int( 10 ) default NULL , note text, ip_address varchar( 255 ) default NULL , PRIMARY KEY ( id ) ) TYPE = MYISAM MySQL said: Table 'ibf_admin_logs' already exists Back
  9. IPB Admin CP -> SQL Management -> mySQL Backup -> Yes, Yes, Yes -> Start Backup -> Save to local HD
  10. Yes and yes and it's a working (albeit empty) forum: forums.charlotteriders.com
  11. Agh " Database charlot2_ivbd3 running on localhost Error There is a chance that you may have found a bug in the SQL parser. Please examine your query closely, and check that the quotes are correct and not mis-matched. Other possible failure causes may be that you are uploading a file with binary outside of a quoted text area. You can also try your query on the MySQL command line interface. The MySQL server error output below, if there is any, may also help you in diagnosing the problem. If you still have problems or if the parser fails where the command line interface succeeds, please reduce your SQL query input to the single query that causes problems, and submit a bug report with the data chunk in the CUT section below:" I went into phpmyadmin, clicked on the database on the left, then clicked on the SQL tab above, then clicked browse, pointed it to my file, and clicked "Go".
