  1. Thanks Bruce. It's a purchased application which generates the web pages for collecting information from online invited guests. I have opened a Help Desk request. I am new to this, so I'll appreciate the help.
  2. I use a client application which generates web pages for my site, then uploads them via FTP. I need to automate the process, and I understand that I might be able to run the application on the server, using the output path directly to my html folders. I need some help, as I am a novice in this area. Is there a resource to guide me through setting up and running a server application? Thanks, Mike
  3. Thanks Bala. 5.3.6 running and no more warning message!
  4. I have php version 5.2.17 on my server. I have a phpbb board that warns me that version of php will need to be updated soon to php 5.3.2. Please help me know what I need to do to prepare. Thanks, Mike
  5. I used a phplist (an opt-in list) to send a message. I had previously edited MAILQUEUE_BATCH_SIZE, MAILQUEUE_BATCH_PERIOD and MAILQUEUE_THROTTLE in the config.php file, but somehow they were back to their defaults. I realized the trouble when it took longer than a few seconds to complete the batch. I have since found and edited my config.php file, but is there a way to see who got the messages and who didn't? I don't want to be a spammer, or get in trouble with TCH. Thanks, Mike
  6. Thanks Alex. That worked better. Now, when I send the test message, the recipient gets the footer as an attachment instead of it being appended to the bottom of the message body. The attachment is called ATT00160.txt, for example, and it contains the text of the footer. I am viewing the test messages in Outlook, and tried two different computers. Is there anything I can do (as the sender) to make the footer always appear inline, or is this a function of the mail browser? I want to make sure the footer unsubscribe option is as evident as possible. Thanks again, Mike
  7. Thanks. I have cut and pasted %(user_optionsurl)s into the footer box, and after submitting changes, I get this: Warning: The following illegal substitution variables were found in the msg_footer string: user_optionsurl Is there another setting needed somewhere?
  8. How do I add the opt out option to these mailings?
  9. I am using the Mailing List utility on my cpanel. Does that answer your question?
  10. I have a mailing list, but I can't seem to find a way to give recipients an easy unsubscribe option at the bottom of the email they receive with each post. I'm sure it's easy; I just can't find it in the Mailing List Options settings. Thanks!
  11. I have the same trouble as kjarret, and I deleted the file through the legacy file manager. I logged out and back in, but my file manager still offers me no choice. I checked to make sure the file was gone, and it is. Any other thoughts?
  12. I want to set up a mailing list in CPanel, and I am more than a little overwhelmed by the options available. All I want is a list so I can send mass mailings, with the ability for people to subscribe and unsubscribe. I don't want it to be like a list-serve, where they can communicate with each other. If possible, I'd like my mailings to have the recipients' individual email addresses in the "To:" field, to limit the spam filtering. Could someone please help me sort out the necessary settings? Thanks a lot!
  13. I went to my registrar's settings page and I see how to change the nameserver. It sounds like once I duplicate my site on my TCH space, I "throw the switch" by changing the nameservers through my registrar, and after a few days of propagation, the transition occurs seemlessly. Thanks for the quick reply.
