How many FTP (non-anonymous) accounts (with passwords) does it allow to be created? Does it allow Auto-Resume FTP? Does it allow Anonymous FTP? Does it allow Anonymous Upload? Does the CGI-Bin allow me to install binaries (i.e. PDG Cart www.pdgsoft.com) Does it include configurable Spam Filtering at the Mail server level? Are any directories user AND password protectable? Does it include a Mailing list manager? Does it support/use .htaccess files? Does it include Domain Forwarding which displays the actual domain that was typed in (Frame Forwarding method)? Does it include Crontab (Scheduled scripts)? Does it include unlimited mySQL database support? Does it include a toll-free phone number for support? What are the hours for support? Can I have multiple domain names pointing to one directory on the account? Can I have domain names pointing to different directories in the account? If I purchased the plan for a year, will I be reimbursed/refunded the unused months if I were to cancel before the end of the year? Do you have a n-day free trial period? Unlimited subdomains, non-anonymous FTP, 30 day money back guarantee, unlimited mysql databases, etc. You can also see the Control Panel Test Drive Page to see how the control panel works which includes Crontab, directory protection and passwords, email management, Mailing List manager, add-on scripts, etc. As for support, this board is a great place for support and, unlike other places I have seen, is monitored regularly by both admins and satisfied users like myself. I have used the HelpDesk and the Instant Messaging options for support and gotten reasonably fast responses in every case and very fast responses in others. Some of the questions have been addressed recently in this forum such as the pointing of multiple domains to different directories in the main account. As I understand it, that is not allowed. Hope this helps somewhat. I'm sure the admins will be able to give answers to the questions you have that are not covered in the links above. I moved my site over a couple of months ago and then moved another site I help with over a few weeks later. rogerg Posted March 17, 2003 Share Posted March 17, 2003 Taka, Spitwad seems to have answered most of your points, but the answer regarding e-mail space seems to be wrong. According to Head Guru in an earlier post in this forum (http://www.totalchoicehosting.com/forums/index.php?act=ST&f=15&t=318), you cannot use your entire disk space allotment for e-mail, so the answer to your second point "As much as your disk space allotment will allow" would seem to be wrong.
