How To Use Imagemagick With 4images

Okay, sorry, I'm a noobie so if this isn't the right forum i'm super sorry. But could someone give me a step-by-step on how to use imagemagick with 4images? I am SSSSOO confused.

I am not familiar with that script,
but some gallery scripts have a problem recognizing imagemagick
Like coppermine, where you have to select GD instead
and then after the install you go back
and change the config to use imagemagick .

yeah, 4images is probably Coppermine's biggest 'competitor'...or, well, let's say 4image is used as much as Coppermine is.

You might try installing by selecting GD for images to see if it will instal ok
And then go back and change the config to imagemagick after.
Its worth a try.

Isn't 4images the one that stole nearly all of it's code from phpBB?

As for the problem I'd follow Don's sugestion of selecting GD on install then if it installs ok try switching to Imagemagick. Is this a problem with the server though or just a problem with the script? Does the script have support for Imagemagick?
